SPREADING THE GOSSIP

'GOSSIP', this term is not new to anyone, we all know what it is. We are all guilty of gossip, no one can beat his/her chest and say ' I've never gossiped ' because that would be like denying food and air. No man is an island, we live among people therefore talking about others is inevitable. We've got to talk about others to celebrate them, help them, humiliate them etc, am guilty of all these as well.  Gossip doesn't necessarily mean those humiliating malice intended comments. Just like every other thing, gossip has its it's good and bad side, ironically it's bad supersedes it's good. 'Do you mind if we pay Mrs Martha a visit, she look  lonely and withdrawn since the unfortunate incident'                                                                        This is an example of a good gossip, no sacasms, no malicious intentions, no one is at risk of losing anything.             'Did you observe Mrs Martha in church today, she loo

MY MUSIC CHRONICON: If I EVER FALL IN LOVE (SHAI)

Ok so I've decided to try something new for this blog, I got the idea from a book I came across on Bambooks, ' Love of Convenience' by 'Fertile Chick'. It's a nice Nigerian novel and you can check it out if you're into romance novels, that's by the way. So this idea is all about posting songs that describes or throw a hint or two on how the day was for me. It's more like using my blog to create playlists. Even though am a Nigerian, my playlists would not be restricted to only Nigerian songs as well as modern songs because  I believe oldies are golden, don't judge😉.      So I've decided to call it ' My Music Chronicon'. So here goes...                       MUSIC OF THE DAY Title: If I ever fall in love Song by Shai 1992, R&B/Soul You can watch and listen to the song via the link below https://youtu.be/caNRc1ER8p4 The very first time That I saw your brown eyes Your lips said hello and I said hi I knew right t
Actress Bimbo Afolayan places generational curses on all those that labelled her 'poor' and advised her to get a better house for her mum. According to her, her mum was beaten up by the Chairman of the Landlord Association in the area for refusing to pay bill on her house since they were not carrying out their responsibilities. She cried out for justice to be served. Some men are just so irresponsible and heartless to lay hands on a woman talk more of a woman with a grandchild. Some people seriously need to learn more about respect.

ERNEST ASUZU: A NOLLYWOOD ACTOR SPOTTED ON THE STREET BEGGING

Yesterday a Nigerian actor was seen begging in front of Just Right, a super market in Oke-Afa, Isolo Lagos. The Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu has being ill after he had stroke and the industry had done nothing to help him out. A Nigerian, identified as Bolingo saw him begging at Just Right, and shared a video of him and the actor on Instagram, he claimed that Ernest cannot even walk, and if he eventually dies the industry would plan a befitting burial. I actually agree with Bolingo on that one, because the industry is totally messed up. This guy did not get sick today, this had being going on for a long time now. Please Nollywood, please help your own out, please.

This is just not right, please if you know your marriage is toxic, please find a way out of it before it takes your life, please. The High Court in Maitama has sentenced Maryam Sanda, a mother of two, to death by hanging for killing her husband Bilyaminu Bello in their Abuja home on November 19th, 2017. Justice Yusuf Haliru, sentenced her to death by hanging on Monday, after she was found guilty. She kept pleading not guilty, claiming that she didn't kill her husband, that he fell on broken bottles during the fight they had over the female nude picture she saw in his phone, but evidence gathered was that Bilyaminu Bello was stabbed with the intention to kill. She tried to escape through the exit door near the dock but was held by security agents.
